I visited Rome with my 74 years old mother, so we decided to book a hotel close to the train station and equipped with a ramp to enter, as well as an elevator. Hotel Royal Court exceeded our expectations in many ways. All the staff was very kind and helpful at all times, from the front desk personnel to the breakfast room waiters. We would like to give a special thank you to Alex, who made us feel truly welcomed upon our arrival and during our stay. He gave us great advice, spoke to us about Rome and took care of us. In addition to the employees, our room was thoroughly clean and very elegant, with a small fridge, complete bathroom, large windows, a desk and so on. We really enjoyed waking up to a nice view of the tree in front of us and the background buildings. Beds and pillows were amazing and we could not hear any noise, even though it is just a few blocks away from the train station. Breakfast was very rich and delicious, with plenty of options for you to choose from. It exceeded our expectations. There are several restaurants along the same street and they are open all day long, so you can have a late lunch or dinner after a day out visiting the city. In case you want to buy some food, there is a food court inside the station, as well as a Conad supermarket on level -1, where they even sell warm food for you to take away. I read some comments saying that the area was not safe, but I do not agree with that. In any large city, there are always some strange people around main train stations, but I did not feel unsafe at all, just be aware of your surroundings, like you would be in any other touristic spot. There were police officers patrolling the station and I did not see anything dangerous, so do not worry. To sum up, I totally recommend this hotel for many reasons and we would definitely stay there again and again.

We had a really lovely stay at the Royal Court. The staff were just so nice and helpful, we couldn't fault them. There was an issue with pre-authorising our credit card to hold our booking the week before we were due to arrive, but they still held the room for us (which was amazing considering we had it booked for 7 nights!). On arrival we got checked in quite quickly. Our room was spacious, with enough closet space for what we packed for a week, plus a good sized bathroom, with both shower and bath. Bed was really comfortable too. TV was set up with access to Netflix and other streaming services, so not just local TV stations. Air con worked well too. Breakfast options were very good and seemed to cater for all tastes. The breakfast room was much larger than I expected, going by some other reviews and photos (would fit up to 20 or 22 people sitting). The staff on duty at breakfast each morning were very helpful, friendly and polite. We had to book our breakfast time for each morning, which wasn't an issue. You could do this at reception the previous day, or send a whatsapp, very easy. Location was super. Just a 5 minute walk to Termini station, but far enough away to be away from all the hustle and bustle around the station. Some really good restaurants within a few minutes walk too (we loved La Lupa, great food and lovely staff). Honestly can't fault the hotel or staff, we really enjoyed our stay there while visiting Rome.

The breakfast was absolutely fantastic. A wide variety of foods was provided, slightly changing throughout our stay, and the pastries were delicious. They had a pie that alternated throughout our stay as well, which was lovely for variety. We were also offered a cup of tea or coffee with out breakfast, which was lovely. The rooms were fairly spacious for two people, and the safe and wadrobe space was great for me and my partner. The matress was super comfy and the bed huge for us both! My partner is 6'2 and for the first time in his life fully fit on the bed haha. In terms of location, everything was very close, so for us, perfect. The free sites like Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and The Basilica of Saint Mary were all within walking distance, as well as the Colosseum. The Vatican was an hours walk, but also accessible by Metro, which was a 5 minute walk away. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us a Map and showing us where we were in relation to all the sites. They also offered Restaurant recommendations nearby.

This is our go to hotel in Rome. The hotel is ideally placed for The Termini / Metro. The staff are very efficient and always have time for their guests. Our rooms have always been of a high standard with easy to use heating/ AC and the beds superbly comfortable. Breakfast is served in the pleasant basement room and offers a wide choice of hot and cold food. On the whole a really nice place to stay.

Clean, comfortable, warm, lift (my wife has a problem with stairs), very close to main station so great for getting places, plenty of restaurants nearby , tea/coffee making possible in room, pleasant staff with good English. Did have restaurant for breakfast in the older part of the hotel but we were in the newer part nearer the station (which we preferred) so never used the restaurant.
